Amman, September 15 (Petra) – Today, Wednesday, Attarat Power Company organized a training course in first aid for local community women in Umm Al-Rasas district, in cooperation with the Directorate of Civil Defense and the Al-Jathal Foundation for Sustainable Development.
According to a press release from the company, today, the civil defense trainers reviewed how to provide first aid while dealing quickly with sick cases and injuries, taking into account public safety rules before the arrival of specialized paramedics.

They stressed the importance of safe handling by women at home with all possible accidents, the most important of which is a gas cylinder leak at home and the instructions that must be followed while working in the kitchen; For the safety of citizens.

Nour Al-Maaytah, Social Responsibility Coordinator at Attarat Power Company, said that the training course is part of the social responsibility activities that the company offers to the local community.
The course aimed to prepare women to provide first aid for any emergency situation, and to learn the principles and methods of correct first aid, which would save lives and reduce risks, accidents and injuries.

The “Attarat Power” project is considered the largest internal foreign investment in the Kingdom at an estimated cost of $2.1 billion. It provides more than a thousand long-term job opportunities for Jordanians, and is the first project to benefit from local oil shale resources and reduce Jordan’s dependence on imported gas.
